Merry Christmas

I just realized I didn't finish my last blog about the sonogram. Oh well, I really don't like to blog

Christmas was yesterday. It was nice. Unfortunately, my dad is back in the hospital. He had another stroke sometime last week. They put him in Jeannette Hospital on Saturday and just recently moved him to a nursing facility in Mt. Pleasant Hospital. He looks pretty bad and is quite confused but you know that man. I am sure he will bounce back from this as he does all his illnesses. You can't quite keep that old bird down.

Christmas Eve we went to my in-laws and got way too many presents as usual. Christmas Day we spent at home for the morning and went to my mom's in the afternoon, the hospital in the evening and over to Mike and Nicole's at night. When Sophia woke up yesterday, I heard her yell, "PRESENTS" and came running into our room. She ran downstairs and was so excited. All we heard was "mommy, he left me presents in red wrapping paper with snowmen!!!". She tore them open and then made a comment how he didn't leave a mess with his boots when he came down the chimney. When we looked at the cookies that were gone, I said "wow, he ate them all" and she said "yeah, fat men gotta eat momma". I about died!!

It's a BOY

Wow, what an experience my sonogram was!!!

Sophia came with us. We went to Medical Imaging Associates in Greensburg. It is a fabulous facility. Our tech's name was Karen and i couldn't have had a better tech. Much better than the nasty woman at the hospital that did Sophias.

She told us that she will do the anatamy at the very end. However, my little guy had his leg's spread from the time she put the thing on my belly. She got a total turtle shot. She is completely sure he is a boy. I choked up. I had tears running down my face as she was scanning the rest. I was so nervous. I don't remember being that nervous with Sophia.

All looks great!! She just

Light Switch

I seriously feel like someone just flipped a switch because I feel 100% better today.
Actually, I started feeling better last evening. I went home, was hungry.. Chad ran out and got Chinese food. I sat with Sophia on the floor playing high ho cherry o with our fireplace on. It was rainy out and I felt cozy. For the first time in weeks, I had no anxiety.

I actually ate all my food and still felt good.

I slept all night long without a disturbance.

I feel great today. Woke up feeling great... Ate lunch... baby is moving like crazy today and I feel back to my old self again.

I really think my thyroid was out of whack and leveled out just like it did with Sophia.

I really hope this lasts because I can handle pregnancy like this!!

My 4 1/2 month routine appointment

I went to see Dr. Jacobson yesterday. I have to say, I didn't want to meet her because I love Dr. Clark and Dr. Philapkosky so much but I ended up REALLY liking her. She was super cool.

She told me all my tests came back normal. I didn't know what she was talking about. Apparently it was my pap and that other swab they did for some kindof bacteria that can cause pre-term labor. That was all fine.

I explained to her about my anxiety. I told her how horrible it is in the evening. I am agitated so easily and I cannot relax. I am having heart palpatations that are really severe. She told me she could put me on Zoloft. I told her I did not want to go on an antidepressent. I asked her if it could be my thyroid and she said probably not since I just had it checked a month ago.

She checked for the hearbeat and had a hard time finding it. She asked me if I am feeling movements and I told her not nearly like I did with Sophia. She said it seems the baby implanted further back this time. That's probably why the movements aren't as clear. She finally found the heartbeat and he/she kicked me while she was listening. We heard it but I didn't feel it.

I asked her if it was ok that I was losing weight. She looked at my chart and said "hmmm" She definately wants to check my thyroid now. With my weight loss, anxiety and heart palpatations she is thinking I may possibly be hyperthyroid again. She ordered the bloodwork and I am going today.

I really had a rough evening. I am just so horribly anxious at night. Thank God for Ambien or I doubt I would ever sleep.

I swear, the minute i push this baby out, while they are stitching me up, I want Chad to go get snipped :)

Week 17

Here I am, week 17. I feel miserable.

I can't sleep. I have anxiety. I hate being pregnant and I am just going to whine about it.

To boot, my darling little angel has turned into a demon child. She doesn't listen to me. At all.

When I was pregnant with Sophia, I got so annoyed by people saying "just wait until the baby comes". Now I get irritated because people say "just wait until you have 2 running around". Why can't people just shut the hell up?

I did something nice for someone recently. I thought it was nice. Chad thought it was nice, yet when I did it, I got no thank you... NONE, whatever. I didn't do it for gratitude but a simple thank you would have been nice. Nothing.

Sophie's Birthday

Well my baby girl's birthday came and went. It's so crazy since it is around our hectic holiday.

I had to work on Wednesday which was her official birthday. Chad was home with her so I was happy about that. We didn't do much on Wednesday. Thursday was Thanksgiving and we went to my in-laws to eat dinner and then went to my moms to eat again. My brother was on good behavior and is not drinking (for now). Friday, my mother and I battled the mall for Black Friday. We always to do so good and get so lucky. We didn't hit any lines at any register (although it seemed that we always started the lines). We got a cart (which we always end up getting a stray one out of no where) and we didn't have to wait more than 20 minutes to eat lunch. I got a TON of shopping done.

Saturday was Sophia's b-day party. I was so busy all day getting everything ready. I was completely exhausted. She had a good time so it was worth it. Sunday, we skipped church and stayed home. We put up Christmas decorations. I was very crampy and tired yesterday so spent alot of time laying down. Sophie has been acting up a lot lately and I don't know if it's her age or if she is acting out because I have not been feeling well lately. Either way, it's making me nuts.

As far as baby #2, I am officially 16 weeks prego. Not really feeling much movements yet. My belly has grown slightly and i am barely filling out my maternity clothes. I look like a slob. My hair is falling out again and I am zitty. The baby is very low and makes me uncomfortable. I seem to be going wide with this one. Maybe it's a boy. We will know on December 17th. I can't wait to find out
